February 10, 2013, Saskatoon, SK (ISN) – University of Saskatchewan rookie netminder Cassidy Hendricks made all 33 saves in a 3-0 shutout victory over the visiting University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Saturday night in Saskatoon’s Rutherford Rink.
It marked Hendricks third shutout of the season and the final game of the Canada West regular season.
With the win, Saskatchewan closes out the season with an 11-12-5 record and fifth in the standings. The Huskies will play in the Canada West post season for the sixth straight season. Lethbridge wraps up at 9-16-3.
In the victory, second-year forward Sara Greschner tallied twice for the Huskies scoring at 12:57 in the first period and 19:53 in the third. Kandace Cook scored the Huskies second goal at 13:19 in the second period.
Shauntelle Parsons made 31 saves in the loss for the Pronghorns.
Both teams went 0-for-5 on the power play.

The Huskies travel to Edmonton to face the University of Alberta Pandas in a Canada West best-of-three quarter-final series February 15, 16 and 17, if necessary. The winner of the series will move on to the conference semifinal.
