February 20, 2013, Prince George, BC (ISN) – The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club is thrilled to offer two-for-one tickets to Saturday’s game on February 23rd when the Prince George Cougars host the Portland Winterhawks.
It promises to be an exciting night at the CN Centre and the Cougars want you to be a part of the excitement as the team continues their chase for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Members of the Prince George Cougars Hockey Club recently participated in a CBC story that involves tracking Canadians and their nutritional intake. The story will eventually run on the popular show, Marketplace. For 40 years now, Marketplace continues to be the CBC’s highest-rated television current affairs series. Per CBC’s website, “This is television that touches Canadians’ lives.”
The CBC film crew is returning to Prince George this weekend and will be attending Saturday’s game. The plan is to fill the rink and show Canada what a fantastic place Prince George is to call home. This gives the Prince George Cougars fans the chance to show their passion on a national TV show!
“This is an excellent chance for us to showcase the Prince George Cougars and the City of Prince George on a national TV show,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President Brandi Brodsky. “We are thankful to Marketplace for the opportunity to participate in their story.”
Two-for-one tickets are only available through the Ticketmaster outlet at the CN Centre.
