Your school could be eligible to get subsidies for school sports

March 15, 2013, (ISN) – Curl BC is excited to be able to announce the availability of funding to support booking of schools for the SOAR (Sharing Our Activities and Resources) program.

SOAR is able to provide a subsidy for schools in BC Games Zones 1 (Kootenays), 5 (Lower Vancouver Island), and 6 (Northern Vancouver Island.)

The objective of this funding is to assist schools in providing golf, curling and tennis program opportunities for all students in their school gym.

Schools must complete the 2013 subsidy application form and return by mail or email by March 29, 2013, at 4pm (PST). Send emails to ac.cblrucnull@letrabp and mail to SOAR program, 293 – 3820 Cessna Drive, Richmond, BC, V7B 0A2.

Program delivery must be scheduled between March and December 2013.

Funding available:

Three-day school delivery regular price $525 maximum subsidy available $200 new price $325.00

Six-day school delivery regular price $1,050 maximum subsidy available $400 new price $$650.00

Equipment purchase maximum subsidy available $400 – please contact us for more details on purchasing the progressive tennis equipment, SNAG golf equipment & floor curling equipment for your school!
