March 28, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Victoria Highlanders Football Club are pleased to announce a partnership with Thrifty Foods for the upcoming 2013 season. This partnership will mark the fifth straight year the two entities have worked together.

As part of the partnership, Thrifty Foods becomes the Home Opening presenting partner on May 4th, 2013. The Victoria Highlanders take on 2011 PDL Champions Kitsap Pumas. This deal also carries on Thrifty Food’s tradition of being an active community supporter and a proponent of the benefits of sport to healthy, active lifestyles.
