April 10, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Victoria Blazers opened their season on a possitive note Tuesday night against the Jokers in front of an energetic crowd at the Archie Browning Centre in Esquimalt.

Veteran Blazers, Tory Spiteri and Bryan Reeve had a terrific night, scoring 3 goals each.  There seemed to be a problem with scorekeeping mechanics as a forth goal scored by Lee Park failed to register and he was only awarded 2 goals in total.

Rookie goaltender Jared Jackson was hot on defense, making it very difficult for the Jokers to score on net.

The Blazers next game is Tuesday April 16 at 9:00 vs the Luckies @ Archie Browning Arena.
