HarbourCats HeadOnly

Stewart Scholz

April 24, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – Since the HarbourCats players are from NCAA Division One schools and are not on professional contracts this means that we need to reach out to the community to house our HarbourCats throughout the season that runs from June 5 to August 11.

The HarbourCats play in the West Coast League, a summer collegiate wood-bat league with teams in BC, Oregon and Washington. The players are mature and respectful 19-22 year olds whom are on scholarships from US and Canadian universities. Players come from such school as: University of Washington, University of Hawaii, Cal State Fullerton, University of Kentucky and the University of Oaklahoma.

Our players have 54 games in just 64 days, the team will be on the road for 35 of those 64 days. When they are home they will be at Royal Athletic Park by 4pm on game days.
