The Royals again partnered with Major Cash this season as $10 from every goal scored at home was donated by Major Cash to KidSport Victoria. The Royals were proud to work with KidSport Victoria once again this year, an organization that works tirelessly to give local children opportunities to play sports.

Last season, more than $175,000 has been raised through 50/50 and Chuck-A-Puck sales at Royals’ home games, with proceeds going towards local charitable organizations primarily minor hockey associations in Greater Victoria.

Marty the Marmot and his tireless efforts in the community have helped generate over $17,000 for a variety of charitable causes and organizations. The Victoria Royals have also donated over $450 from sales of Mini Marty stuffed animals in the past year to the Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Foundation.
