Canada to face-off against Turkey

May 13, 2013, Gatineau  (ISN) – Canada will be hosting the Turkish National Team for training and three exhibition matches in preparation for the prestigious FIVB Volleyball World League tournament.

These pre-World League matches in Gatineau bring together some of the world’ s top names. Volleyball Canada is pleased to present this series which acts as important preparation because it offers the Canadians their first opportunity to play as a team before heading into their first round of World League matches. WHO: Team features home-grown talent including Team Canada Head Coach Glenn Hoag (Gatineau) and Adam Simac (Ottawa). Both of these Ottawa-Gatineau natives have helped put Canada on the international volleyball stage.

May 15th @ 7pm at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau, Gatineau, QC

May 16th @ 7pm at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau, Gatineau, QC

May 18th @ 7pm at Queen’s University Athletic and Recreation Centre, Kingston, ON

TICKETS FOR PUBLIC: adults $8.00 or $10.00 at the door; Children (5- 12) $3.75 or $5.00
at the door; children under 5 get free admission.
