May 16, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – General Manager Holly Jones is pleased to announce that the Victoria HarbourCats have partnered with Sopranos Bar & Grill for the 2013 West Coast League season.
Sopranos is Victoria’s favorite place for karaoke every night of the week and is conveniently located right down the street from Royal Athletic Park. Sopranos will be sponsoring music bingo during the 3rd inning of every HarbourCats home game this season where fans can win great Sopranos prizes.
Harvey the HarbourCat will be making a special appearance at Sopranos before a Friday evening HarbourCats home game when fans will have the opportunity to throw their hardest pitch and have the speed measured by the HarbourCats radar gun, this is a great way for fans to warm up for the game. After the game, fans will be able to use their HarbourCats ticket to get in to Sopranos without a cover charge.
Sopranos will also be offering HarbourCats fans an exclusive promotion throughout the season; for one low price fans can get a ticket to a HarbourCats game as well as a burger and beer at Sopranos before the game. This promotion will begin June 5, right in time for the Home Opener of the HarbourCats season. Heather Furneaux, Promotions Coordinator said, “We have a long history of embracing the Victorian sporting community and we are excited to offer HarbourCats fans a great deal on a delicious pregame meal and one of the hottest tickets this summer in Victoria”.
Sopranos is also holding a Country Music sing off to find the best country music singer in Victoria, and the finals will take place on June 8. The grand prize is a trip to Duncan’s Sunfest, the second place singer will be an automatic qualifier to sing the National Anthems at a HarbourCats home game; the third place singer will sing during the 7th inning stretch at a HarbourCats home game.
