“Something like this just isn’t possible without the incredible support of so many people,” said Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery manager, Jim Young. “There is a dedicated team of people that step up every year to bring this lottery to life and we would be nowhere without everyone who purchases a ticket.”
“The Spruce Kings are able to stay in Prince George and play in the best junior hockey league in all of Canada because of the lottery,” continued Young. “So many other teams are looking at it as a model for themselves because they recognize just how big it is for our club. There’s a lot of work that goes into it from a number of people and that work happens year round.”
