May 23, 2013, Ottawa, ON (ISN) – Athletics Canada’s National Track League (NTL) announced today the return of LIVE series coverage on FloTrack.

As part of the partnership the sport specialized streaming provider will offer LIVE streaming coverage of all five NTL2013 competitions including pre and post interviews as well as on demand archived footage. More than thirty five 2012 Olympians have already been confirmed for the series with more athlete announcements in the coming weeks.

“Flotrack is proud to partner with the NTL again in 2013. The series continues to get better and we are excited to be a part of its continued growth,” said Mark Floreani, Flocasts Co-Founder and CMO. FloTrack will also support 2013NTL through a landing page on its website and email alerts to its substantial subscriber base.

“The partnership with FloTrack has been great, we’re really happy to be extending it to NTL2013,” said Mathieu Gentès, Athletics Canada Director of Public Relations and Corporate Services. He adds, “We have large ambitions for the role the series plays in supporting our strategic objectives in terms of domestic competitions, athlete development, general public awareness and overall growth. If we’re going to achieve any of these we must first deliver a quality product to our community, FloTrack helps us achieve that goal.”

2013NTL begins in Halifax June 9 then moves to Toronto on June 11. The series takes a two week hiatus to allow athletes proper preparation for the Canadian Championships and World Championship Trials in Moncton June 20-23. 2013NTL will then continue in Edmonton on June 29, in Burnaby on July 1 and wraps up with the final in Victoria July 5.

FloTrack’s coverage of the 2012 series provided impressive exposure, overall 1,099,944 impressions through streaming coverage, email blasts, articles and website banner advertisements. NTL2012 served as the stage for 46 Olympic standards by Canadian athletes, saw participation from 31 countries including six London 2012 Olympic medalists.
