Jr and Int Shamrocks victorious on the road

June 3, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Int. Rocks travelled to Langley and for the second game in a row needed Over Time to come away with a win, 16-15

Leading the way were Matt Hamilton with 6 goals and 1 assist, Darrin Wilson with 5 assists and Jamie Jensen with 2 goals and 2 assists

The Jr Rock coming back after a loss to New West on Saturday, took it out on the Burnaby Lakers 17 – 5. After a slow first period which ended 2 – 2 the rocks exploded in the second for 10 goals and took command of the game.

Leading the way were Devon Casey with 2 goals and 4 assist, Chris Wardle with 1 goal and 4 assists, Dane Schoor 3 goals and 1 assist, Brody Eastwood 3 goals, Jesse King 1 goal and 3 assists and Jake Cullen 2 goals. Singles were scored by Russell Kirk, Chris Kasper, Max Fredrickson, Mason Pynn and Dominik Pesek.

Derek Anderson was solid in his first start in goal and even chipped in two assists of his own.

Next home game for the Jr Rocks is June 11 8:00 at Bear Mountain against the Nanaimo Timbermen.
