June 4, 2013, Saskatoon, SK (ISN) – University of Saskatchewan athletes will be doing their part to help raise money through the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation Wednesday during Camp Day.
Huskie athletes will be serving coffee from 8 to 10 a.m. at one of 17 Tim Hortons locations across Saskatoon. Camp Day helps raise money for the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation. The Foundation provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for children to experience everything camp has to offer.
Every penny from coffee sales at all Tim Hortons locations goes toward sending children to camps.
“Huskie athletes receive so much support from the community, we all look forward to the opportunity to give something back,” said men’s hockey forward Andrew Bailey. “Camp day provides a way for us to volunteer our time for a great cause like the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation. We hope to see Huskie fans coming to Tim Hortons to purchase a coffee from us to help with this worthy cause.”
