McNulty Drafted By the Detroit Red Wings in the Sixth Round of 2013 Draft

June 30, 2013, Prince George, BC (ISN) – The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that 1995-born defenceman Marc McNulty (Medicine Hat, AB) has been selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

In his first full season in the Western Hockey League, McNulty (6’6″, 189 pounds) led all Cougars defenceman with eight goals. Through 52 games, he totaled 15 points and 70 penalty minutes.

McNulty was selected by the Prince George Cougars in the 10th round of the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and is the first Prince George Cougars player to ever be selected by the Detroit Red Wings.
