Pochiro Drafted By St. Louis in the Fourth Round of 2013 NHL Draft

June 30, 2013, Prince George, BC (ISN) – The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that 1994-born forward Zachary Pochiro (Las Vegas, NV) has been selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

Pochiro (6’1″, 161 pounds) led all Cougars rookies with 15 goals, 39 points and 105 penalty minutes during the 2012-2013 season. For his efforts, he was named the Cougars Rookie of the Year.

Prior to joining the Prince George Cougars, Pochiro played for the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League. He was listed and signed by the Prince George Cougars during the summer of 2012.

Born in St. Louis, Pochiro becomes the second Cougar to ever be selected by the St. Louis Blues (Nick Drazenovic, 2005).
