Nick Tuele – President
July 27, 2013 Victoria, BC (ISN) – At the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame’s recent Annual General Meeting, Robert Bettauer, CEO of the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence, was elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Bettauer brings a wealth of experience to the Board with his extensive history as a senior sports leader in Canada.
He is also the current Chair of the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame.
He joins President Nick Tuele, Past President John Bate, 1st Vice President Bob Hope, 2nd Vice President Doug Jennings, Treasurer Andrea Ratcliff, Secretary Irene Harrison, Bob Wheaton, John Devlin, Jeevan Dillon, Fern Perkins and Lois Smith.
The Hall of Fame is in its 20th year of operations and displays featuring the rich sports history of Greater Victoria may be seen at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre through Gate Three. This year’s inductees will be celebrated at a gala dinner on October 26 at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence.
