This crew is a combination of British Columbia (Victoria City Rowing Club) and Ontario-based athletes from Upper Canada College.

The junior women’s double was also fourth in today’s rep (8:24.32), and go to semi C/D. This crew is Sofia Donnecke (Claremont Sport Institute, BC) and Mckenzie Lukacs (Calgary Rowing Club, Alberta).

Finally, the junior men’s double was fifth in the rep in 7:37.85, and go to the final E round. Crew members are Patrick Keane (VCRC) and David Nicmans (Burnaby Lake Rowing Club).

“All athletes made some significant improvements on their racing today, which will set them up for finals on the weekend. The results demonstrate that we have some great athletes who could be successful in the future, but are currently underdeveloped,” explains RCA development director, Peter Shakespear. “The team looks forward to seeing Graham Peeters, the most improved athlete on the team, compete in the quarter finals (of the men’s single sculls) tomorrow for a spot in the semi-finals.”
