August 19, 2013, Another BCHL season is close at hand and the best indicator that hockey is just around the corner is that BCHL training camps have begun.

Many teams opened camp today with most workouts free to the public. Some teams are starting up later this week but the first exhibition game goes Thursday, Aug. 22 as the Salmon Arm SilverBacks visit the Merritt Centennials.

Several of the exhibition games will be available on FASTHockey Pay-Per-View. If you don’t have one already, visit the FASTHockey sign-in page  to create an account so you can watch games online.

Training camps will see rosters pared down to 22 players for the start of the regular season. The games begin to count for real on Friday, Sept. 6 which is the start of the Bauer BCHL Showcase. About 200 pro and college scouts are expected to attend the event and fans can book their spot at Chilliwack’s Prospera Centre as well. Tickets for the Showcase are on sale now; visit the TICKET CARD WEBSITE for purchasing in advance.
