George, Yee To Represent Canada At Pan Am Juniors

August 22, 2013, LANGLEY, BC (ISN) – Trinity Western track and field athletes Nathan George (Coquitlam, B.C.) and Regan Yee (South Hazelton, B.C.) will don the Maple Leaf this weekend as they compete for Canada at the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships in Medellin, Colombia Aug. 23-25.

George, who will be entering his second year at TWU, will compete in the 400m, while Yee, who will be a first-year student-athlete this fall, will run in the 3000m steeplechase.

At the 2013 Canadian Junior Championships in July in Ste-Therese, Que., Yee won the 2000m steeplechase while George earned a silver medal in the 400m.

Spartans track and field coach Laurier Primeau will also be in Medellin as he was earlier named Canada’s head coach for the event.
