Story and Photos by Sylvia Labelle (ISN)

August 25, 2013, Sundre, AB (ISN) – normally holds its pro rodeo in June but due to extreme flooding in Southern Alberta is was postponed until this last weekend.

This 3 day event was towns 34 annual rodeo. These cowboys are competing for a spot at the CFR held in November in Edmonton. Only the top ten cowboys in each event are invited to attend the Canadian Finals Rodeo. The points they earn at the minimum of 15 pro rodeos that they must compete in determine whether they will get the invite or not.
