Tigers Reassign Five Players

September 3, 2013, Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers have reassigned five players to their respective hometown teams after playing two exhibition games this weekend at the Edmonton Oil Kings tournament in St. Albert, AB.

Forwards Mark Rassell, Caleb Fantillo, Ryan Jevne, Mason Shaw and defenseman Marshall Skapski are headed home after a successful Tigers training camp.

The current roster sees a total of 36 players including 20 forwards, 13 defenseman and 3 goaltenders remaining with the team. Ten veteran players will be leaving to attend various NHL camps over the next few days.

The Tigers will take on the Swift Current Broncos in a home and home exhibition series this week with the first game to take place Thursday in Swift Current at 7:00 p.m. The two teams will meet again on Saturday at the Kinplex for a 7:30 pm match up. Rush seating tickets are $10.00 each and can be picked up at the Tiger’s office in The Arena.
