September 16, 2013, Prince Albert SK (ISN) – The Prince Albert Raiders re-assigned three players today, including 19-year-old defenceman Riley Guenther, 17-year-old forward Spencer Meyer and 16-year-old forward Joshua Passolt.
Guenther spent the previous season and a half with the Green and Gold after being acquired in December of 2011. In 67 games with the Raiders, the Calgary, Alberta native scored 3 goals and 3 assists along with 39 penalty minutes.
Meyer, a native of Surrey, BC, appeared in three pre-season games, recording five penalty minutes. Meyer and Guenther are currently awaiting re-assignment.
Passolt appeared in both pre-season games against the Blades over the weekend, scoring a goal in the final exhibition match of the season against the Blades. The Maple Grove, Minnesota product will return to his hometown to play for Maple Grove High School.
The Raiders roster now consists of 24 players, including 14 forwards, 8 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.
The Raiders will being the 2013-2014 season on Friday as they visit the Saskatoon Blades. They return to the Art Hauser Centre on Saturday September 21st for the 900 CKBI Home Opener against Saskatoon at 7:00 PM.
