Royals To Be Featured Four Times On the WHL On Shaw

September 16, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) – The Western Hockey League (WHL) and SHAW Communications announced their 32-game line-up of televised contests on the cable network Monday for the 2013-14 WHL regular season. The Victoria Royals will be featured in four of those games.


The Royals will first be on the air when The WHL on SHAW covers their tilt with the Prince George Cougars on Wednesday, October 16th. Puck drop that evening is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

The WHL on SHAW will also broadcast the Royals’ November 20th road game against the Kelowna Rockets. Puck drop at Prospera Place is set for 7:05 p.m. that night. The final two televised games will come Friday, March 7th and Friday, March 14th when the Royals host the Kamloops Blazers and Everett Silvertips respectively.
