September 19, 2013, Ottawa, ON (ISN) – The Canadian Paralympic Committee, in partnership with Flight Centre, would like to advise Canadians interested inpurchasing tickets to the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games of the process.
1) Tickets for the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games will go on sale world-wide on September 27, 2013.
The only way for Canadians to secure tickets for Sochi 2014 is through Flight Centre, Canada’s Authorized Ticket Reseller.
Flight Centre will begin taking advance requests for ticket orders on September 19, 2013, to ensure Canadians and Team Canada’s Friends & Family have an opportunity to get tickets immediately when they go on sale.
Flight Centre has the most up to date competition schedule available and can assist Canadians in determining which tickets to purchase for the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games.
Flight Centre can NOT guarantee they can secure tickets, but will make their best efforts to acquire tickets on behalf of Canadians.
Flight Centre will also assist Canadians in applying for a Spectator Pass, which will be a mandatory piece of identification required to access events at Sochi 2014.

2) We are pleased to announce that Petro-Canada will be continuing the Canadian Athlete Family Program!
Suncor Energy, through its Petro-Canada brand, recognizes the commitment and sacrifice that athletes’ families and friends make and wants to provide them with an opportunity to cheer on “their” athlete live in Sochi! As part of this program, all events in which a Canadian athlete competes will have two tickets available per athlete, per session for use by a family member or friend of each athlete. These tickets are for every session including all preliminary, elimination, and medal round events and will be paid for by Petro-Canada.
Petro-Canada has a proud history of supporting Canadian athletes, their families and coaches since 1988. Qualifying athletes will receive further information on this program closer to Games time.
