Rebels Trim Roster By Two

September 21, 2013, Red Deer, AB (ISN) – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the reassignment of two players.

Defenceman Kaleb Denham has been reassigned to the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, and forward Mathieu Lapointe has been sent to the Drayton Valley Thunder also of the AJHL. Both players are 17-years old.

Hometown: Innisfail, AB

Mathieu Lapointe

DOB: March 11, 1996

Hometown: Edmonton, AB

With these moves, the Rebels have 26 players on their roster. However, that number included Mathew Dumba who is currently with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League.
