Two Raiders Listed by Central Scouting

September 23, 2013, Prince Albert SK (ISN) – The Prince Albert Raiders two import players have both been placed NHL Central Scouting’s 2014 Players to watch list, which was released earlier this morning.

German forward Leon Draisaitl is listed as an “A” skater, following his Eastern Conference Rookie of the Year performance last season, where the he finished second on the team in scoring with 21 goals and 37 assists for 58 points. The 6’2″ centre has already recorded 4 points in a pair of games to start the season.

The Raiders newest import, Czech defenceman Tomas Andrlik has also made the list as a “C” skater. Drafted by the Raiders 37th overall in the 2013 CHL Import Draft, the 6′, 182-pound blueliner has 3 assists in his first 2 WHL games as well as a plus-3 rating.

Raiders Re-Assign Dylan Stewart

The Raiders announced today that they have re-assigned 16-year-old forward Dylan Stewart to the Canadian Athletic Club Canadians Midget AAA in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.

The 6′, 180-pound centre recorded an assist in each of his 3 pre-season games.

The Raiders roster is now down to 24 players, including 2 goaltenders, 8 defencemen and 14 forwards.
