Inaugural Bayview Place Cup Set For Success

September 25, 2013, Victoria, BC – With only three days left until the first kick of the Bayview Place Cup, all indications point to a very successful inaugural tournament.

The Bayview Place Cup is a 5 vs. 5 corporate challenge that will take place on Saturday, September 28th at Victoria West Park.

“We weren’t certain what type of response we were going to get from the local business community. We figured we could get at least six corporate teams involved in the first year and that would have been a great success,” stated Highlanders General Manager Mark deFrias. “To have eleven businesses involved in the first year is outstanding, and I think really shows how active our local corporate community is.”

All proceeds from the Bayview Place Cup will support the Times Colonist Raise-A-Reader program.
