Day 2 – 2013 NORCECA Continental Championship

Sept. 25, 2013, Langley, BC – The second day of the 2013 NORCECA Men’s Volleyball Continental Championships was filled with match ups that were much closer than day one. Canada enjoyed a rest day as they prepare for their second match against Mexico Wednesday at 8pm at the Langley Events Centre.

With Cuba dropping a set to Puerto Rico in day two action, it’s opened up the door for Canada as a three sets to nothing victory over Mexico tomorrow would guarantee a bye to the semi-finals. Mexico is coming off a 3-0 win over Guatemala in their first taste of play at the 2013 NORCECAs and will be looking to spoil the party for Canada.

The action gets started again at 4pm with Puerto Rico and the Bahamas, followed by the Dominican Republic and St Lucia at 6pm, and finally Canada will take on Mexico at 8pm. Wednesday night (September 25th) will be the last day of pool play, as the outcomes will determine the final placing for each team heading into the playoff rounds.

Due to high demand additional reserved seating has been opened up for the rest of the 2013 NORCECA Men’s Volleyball Continental Championship at the Langley Events Centre. Just go to:
