Sarah Stanley of the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers women’s soccer team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 29, 2013.

A third-year business student in her fourth year of eligibility from Charlottetown, P.E.I., Stanley scored both game-winning goals in the Panthers’ weekend victories over the No. 1 AUS-ranked Dalhousie Tigers and the Saint Mary’s Huskies.

She is now tied for sixth in AUS scoring with three goals, all scored in this past weekend’s games.

Kyle Denbrook of the Saint Mary’s University Huskies men’s soccer team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 29, 2013.

A fifth-year arts student from Lower Sackville, N.S., Denbrook scored two game-winning goals this week in a pair of road wins over the Dalhousie Tigers on Wednesday and the UPEI Panthers on Sunday.

He is currently tied for seventh in AUS scoring and his two game-winning goals are tied for the most in the conference.

Saint Mary’s is now 5-2-1 and sits atop the AUS standings with 16 points. They are ranked No. 10 in this week’s CIS men’s soccer rankings.
