October 9, 2013, KAMLOOPS (ISN) – The Thompson Rivers University Baseball team hosts the Okanagan Athletics down at Norbrock Stadium on the weekend where we all have something to be thankful for.

The WolfPack will take on the A’s in four nine-inning games. First pitch goes at on Saturday and Sunday.

The ‘Pack have been really thankful this fall with a very deep and talented roster. It shows in their 10-2-3 record.

“It has been an awesome fall,” coach Ray Chadwick said. “Guys are coming off the bench and making the most of their playing time.”

If the Athletics are looking for signs of fatigue from TRU this weekend, it is highly unlikely. The ‘Pack played six games last weekend, but that wasn’t even their busiest weekend of the fall. TRU went into Okotoks Alta. early in September and played nine games.

TRU will host more home games next weekend as the college team from Kelowna rolls into town. Okanagan College will visit Kamloops next weekend in TRU’s last scheduled games of the fall as the leaves begin to turn from green to a crispy gold colour.
