October 16, 2013, Saskatchewan (ISN) – Huskie Athletics is pleased to announce the University of Saskatchewan men’s hockey team will play four games in the 2013-14 season in Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre.

The venue, home to the 2014 CIS PotashCorp University Cup presented by Coop, will play host to the Huskies on January 3-4 when the Manitoba Bisons visit. The Huskies will also play at Credit Union Centre January 31 and February 1 against the Calgary Dinos.

“This is another opportunity for our team to get acquainted and comfortable playing in the building before we host the national championship,” said Huskie head coach Dave Adolph. “It is a great venue and a good place to watch a hockey game. We look forward to taking our game there.”

Puck drop for the January 3 and January 31 games is 7 p.m., while the January 4 and February 1 games will be played at 2 p.m.

All other 2013-14 Huskie men’s hockey games will continue to be played at Rutherford Rink on campus.
