October 19, 2013, Prince George (ISN) – The Cariboo Cougars were back on home ice for the second time this season. The 6-2 Valley West Hawks would be the visitors.

Halfway through the opening frame the Cats would open the scoring. Thomas Webster would get the ice breaker. The Cougars had a 1-0 lead after the first.

In the second the Hawks would answer when Justin Wilde snapped one past Jeremy Matte. Once again just one goal in the period and it was off to the third tied at 1.

In the final 20 minutes Valley West would take their first lead when Matt Bradley went top shelf. Just two minutes later Bryan Allbee fired home a one timer on the power play to it. With just over three minutes left Jesse Lansdell would put home a loose puck for the game winner. 3-2 final score. The Cats have now dropped four in a row and sit at 3-4 on the season. The Hawks improve to 7-2.
