Huskies men’s basketball win Graham Shootout

October 26, 2013, Saskatchewan (ISN) – For the fifth straight year the University of Saskatchewan Huskies were crowned winners of the annual Graham Shootout Saturday with an 89-64 victory over the University of Calgary Dinos.

Earlier in the day, Toronto Varsity Blues defeated the Bishop’s Gaiters 65-57.

Rounding out the tournament standings were the Varsity Blues 2-1, the Bishop’s Gairters 1-2 and the Dinos 0-3. Saskatchewan’s Ben Baker, Matthew Forbes and Dadrian Collins were each named tournament all-stars, as well as Toronto’s Manny Sahota, Bishop’s Mike Andrews and Calgary’s Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson. Baker was also handed the tournament MVP award.

The Huskies extend their overall record to 7-1 after the win over Calgary.
