Rockets go 2-0

October 28, 2013, Kelowna (ISN) – The North Island Silvertips made the journey up to Kelowna to take on the Okanagan Rockets and although the games were evenly matched on paper the Rockets snuck away with both wins.

In the first game the Silvertips would get on the board first on the powerplay by Joe Gage and they have the lead all the way till the third period where the Rockets would unleash scoring six goals to take the game 6-2, Clayton Peace would add the second marker for the Silvertips.

On Sunday afternoon it was a much closer game but the Rockets would again sneak away with the 3-2 victory, Clayton Peace and Hunter Findlater would score the only goals for the Silvertips in the game.

The Silvertips have next weekend off, their next matchup is against the Greater Vancouver Canadians on Nov 13th at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.
