“Stache Bash” Party Tickets On Sale; Movember Fundraiser

November 1, 2013, Swift Current (ISN) – The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club will kick off their “Movember” campaign with a “Stache Bash” post-game party which will be held on Saturday, November 2nd immediately following the Swift Current Broncos game vs. the Saskatoon Blades in the Auditorium of the Credit Union iPlex. All ticket sales from the “Stache Bash” will go directly to the 2013 Movember campaign.

Tickets for the “Stache Bash” are $20, or just $10 if you purchase a ticket to the Saturday, November 2nd Swift Current Broncos game as well. “Stache Bash” tickets will go on sale on Friday, October 11th and can be purchased at the Broncos souvenir store, The Stable.

The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club and Innovation Credit Union are proud to announce the “i-Bronco Movember Challenge”.

Swift Current Broncos players and staff will compete against the staff of Innovation Credit Union all month long to see who can raise the most money for “Movember”, the month-long fundraiser that raises awareness and funds to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.

“The Broncos have participated in the Movember campaign for a number of years now and adding a little friendly competition for some bragging rights will make it that more exciting this year,” says Assistant General Manager – Business Operations, Dianne Sletten.

The Saturday, November 2nd Swift Current Broncos game will also mark the second Saturday Night Sellout of the season, as its Christmas Shopping Spree Night. 8 Broncos will be growing moustaches throughout the month of November in support of male cancer research.

Fans can make a donation and help the Broncos in their fight for a cure by visiting the Broncos official Movember page at mobro.co/swiftcurrentbroncos or at the donation boxes set up in the lobby at Broncos home games throughout the month.

The funds that Movember raise are invested in programs that address the strategic priorities Movember has identified, related to both prostate cancer and mental health research.

The Broncos will also be once again running a month long poll for the “Fans Choice Award” aka. Jim Cuthbert Trophy. Fans can submit their vote on the Broncos website (http://www.scbroncos.com/), for their favourite Broncos moustache throughout the month. Photos will be uploaded on a weekly basis to give fans a frequent update on the player’s moustaches. The winner will be announced on November 30th.
