November 5, 2013, Toronto, ON (ISN) – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that 2014 NHL Draft prospect Jayce Hawryluk of the Brandon Wheat Kings is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 3 after scoring six goals with two assists for eight points in three games with a plus-minus rating of plus-4.
Hawryluk recorded the first two hat-tricks of his career helping the Wheat Kings earn a pair of victories to even their record at 9-9-0-0 in the WHL’s East Division standings. His first three-goal game included the game-winner plus an assist to lead the Wheat Kings to a 6-3 win over the Everett Silvertips on Friday night where he claimed first star honours.
