Of his eight goals during September and October, three came on the powerplay and one was a game winner.

A member of Slavia Praha (U20 junior team in 2011-12), Richard returned home from the Wheat Kings longest road trip of the season Monday with fourteen points including 11 goals in seventeen games. His eleven goals matches last year’s output when he scored 11 goals and 24 points in 36 games.

Friday’s game will be the second of three home games that the Wheat Kings will play in over a five day stretch. Brandon will host Saskatoon on Thursday and the Lethbridge Hurricanes will make their first appearance of the season on Monday afternoon.

Brandon enters the weekend with a record of 9-9-0 and are coming off back to back weekend victories in Everett and Lethbridge. Nejezchleb had two goals, including the game winner in Sunday’s 6-2 victory over the Hurricanes.
