NHL Central Scouting preliminary rankings include nine BCHLers


November 14, 2013 (ISN) – NHL Central Scouting has released its preliminary player rankings in advance of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and nine BCHL players are named among the 20 Canadian Junior Hockey League players listed.

All of the CJHL players on the list were classed as ‘C’-grade prospects meaning they would likely be selected in the fourth round or lower in the draft.

The BCHL players listed are:

  • Mason Blacklock, F, Vernon Vipers
  • Alexandre Coulombe, D, Penticton Vees
  • Alex Gillies, F, Salmon Arm SilverBacks
  • Demico Hannoun, F, Vernon Vipers
  • Hunter Miska, G, Penticton Vees
  • Jack Ramsey, F, Penticton Vees
  • Luke Ripley, D, Powell River Kings
  • Adam Rockwood, F, Coquitlam Express
  • Jeff Wight, F, Merritt Centennials

The 2014 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 27 and 28 at the Wells Fargo Centre in Philadelphia.
