November 15, 2013, Prince George BC (ISN) – The Annual Cougars Christmas Campaign kicks off on Friday, November 29 and runs through Wednesday, December 11. The Cougars are proud to once again partner with local non-profit organizations to make it easy for fans to support our community this holiday season.
At each game between November 29 and December 10 fans are encouraged to bring items to the game to support various local organizations including The Salvation Army, The Canadian Mental Health Association, The Prince George Council of Seniors, and The Rotary Club of Prince George Yellowhead.
“The spirit of our fans is strong year ’round and our goal is to share that spirit each Christmas to help local families, children and seniors over the holiday season,” says Cougars Vice-President Brandi Brodsky. “Our diverse community also has many diverse needs. Our annual Christmas Campaign has been running for over ten years, as we strive to reach as many people as possible – people of all ages and all walks of life – during what can be a very challenging time of year for those in need.”
