November 21, 2013, Saskatchewan (ISN) – Huskie Athletics announces that women’s soccer head coach Tom LaPointe has resigned from his position.

LaPointe has stepped down after seven years as head coach of the Huskie women’s soccer team. During his time, LaPointe amassed a 42-42-8 record and helped the Huskies qualify for the playoffs in the last two seasons, as well as setting program-bests for wins and points in a season.

“Tom was a valued addition to the coaching staff during his tenure,” said athletic director Basil Hughton. “He was a resource to our athletes and we are proud of what we accomplished under his leadership.”

Huskie Athletics will address this coaching vacancy in the upcoming weeks.
