November 26, 2013, Prince George, B.C. (ISN) – The Prince George Cougars have acquired 1995-born forward Aaron Macklin (High River, AB) from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for 1996-born forward Carson Bolduc (Salmon Arm, B.C.).

Macklin is 6’2″, 195 pounds and has tallied three goals and seven points along with 25 penalty minutes in 20 games so far this season.

Macklin has spent his entire WHL career with the Blazers. In 87 games he has scored four goals and 11 points, and also played in 13 playoff games with the Blazers last season scoring three goals.

“We’re looking forward to adding a player with Aaron’s skill-set,” said Prince George Cougars Head Coach Mark Holick. “He’s got size, plays the game physically, and has shown that he can chip in offensively too.”

Macklin will make his Cougars debut this weekend when the Prince George Cougars entertain their B.C. Division rivals, the Vancouver Giants for a Friday-Saturday weekend double-header.

Prince George Cougars tickets are available by calling Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
