November 26, 2013 (ISN) – On Wednesday at 13:00 GMT three of the England Sevens players taking part in the second round of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Dubai, will take time out of their preparation to answer your questions.

England’s captain Tom Powell, Mat Turner and Marcus Watson will take to Twitter for 45 minutes to engage with fans of Rugby Sevens on all things about the Emirates Dubai Sevens and the side’s preparation.

For a chance to have your questions answered all you need to do is go to and use the hashtag #AskEng7s. The three players will respond to as many as they can in the time, and will also pick their favourite question to win a signed England shirt.

Ahead of the Twitter Q&A Powell, who was captained by Chris Robshaw at school, has already spoken about his pride in captaining the England Sevens side.

“It’s probably the biggest thing I’ve achieved in my career,” said Powell, who made his debut on the IRB circuit in February 2010.

“Representing your country at any level in any sport is an amazing achievement, then to be asked to captain your country is the ultimate honour in my opinion. I’ll do my talking on the pitch and hopefully the boys will follow my lead.”

While Powell captain the side in Australia’s Gold Coast, Watson was the 13th man and will be making his first appearance under new coach Simon Amor on the Series.

All three players have won the Dubai title before, with Turner also picking up the player of the tournament in 2011.
