December 3, 2013, Brandon (ISN) – Would you know what players helped Brandon capture its two Western Hockey League Championship Titles in 1979 and ’96? Could you name those Wheat Kings to be chosen in the first round of the National Hockey League Entry Draft? Do you recognize the three players (pictured above) that were members of the 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup?

If so, you could have what it takes to be crowned the BMO Ultimate Wheat King Fan?

Your chance to score some great prizes and qualify for a chance to earn a trip to the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup comes up this Friday night when the Wheat Kings play host to the visiting Swift Current Broncos at Westman Communications Group Place.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to come prepared for what should be an exciting event. Three lucky fans will be selected for a second intermission trivia contest and will put their Wheat Kings knowledge to the test. The first fan to answer three questions correctly will be declared the BMO Ultimate Wheat Kings Fan.

Here is how the fans will be judged:  

1.    Originality (stands out in the crowd, creates conversation among the crowd, and highly visible)
2.    Enthusiasm (Engaging, Dancing to the music, fan applause, Fun and Interactive)
3.    Creativity (wearing Team Colors, Jerseys, Face Painting, Wig, Helmet, Costume, etc…)
4.    Age (participants must be 16 years or older at the time of the event)    

The winner of the Screaming Eagles Ultimate Fan contest will receive a team jersey with “BMO Ultimate Fan” crested on the front, a $50 BMO pre-paid MasterCard, and their name entered in the GRAND PRIZE draw to win a trip to the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup in London.  Secondary prizes for the other two finalists will be a $25 BMO pre-paid MasterCard.
