December 3, 2013 (ISN) – In just over six weeks on Saturday, January 18, 2014, Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan, will play host to the 2014 edition of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada on CBC with a week full of hockey-related events and activities leading up to the broadcast on Saturday, January 18, 2014 that includes four live game broadcasts featuring all seven Canadian NHL franchises.

In advance of the big day, members of the CBC’s Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada production team will join representatives from Scotiabank, the Lloydminster community and the Scotiabank Stolen From A Hockey Card concert on-location and by phone on Wednesday, December 4 for a press conference where they will discuss broadcast plans as well as on-site activities in and around Lloydminster leading up to Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada.
