Post Foods, the CHL and Prince Albert Raiders announce local food bank donation

December 5, 2013, Toronto, ON (ISN) – On Tuesday, December 10, the Prince Albert Raiders’ own Josh Morrissey will be on hand at the Prince Albert Share A Meal Food Bank to speak to media, greet fans and announce Post Foods Canada’s donation of 10 cases of Family Size Honey Shreddies to help local families in need.

The appearance and donation is part of the collaboration between Post Foods Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) to bring junior hockey’s stars to breakfast tables across the country.

Post Foods Canada is currently running the Post Exclusive CHL Collector’s Edition Series consumer promotion, which allows purchasers of specially-marked boxes of participating Post cereals to redeem a PIN online for a set of four unique hockey cards (six sets available to choose from) and features six unique collectable boxes featuring the brightest stars from the Western Hockey League (WHL), the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Prince Albert Raiders’ Defenseman Josh Morrissey is featured on the front of Honey Shred dies.

Each case contains 10 boxes of Family Size Honey Shreddies. Each box is 710 grams. The recommended serving size is of Honey Shreddies is 45 grams.  In total, Post Foods Canada will be donating 1577 servings of Honey Shreddies, equal to over four years of cereal at one serving per day.
