December 10, 2013, Comox (ISN) – On Saturday December 7, the Comox Valley Glacier Kings turned the North division leadership of the VIJHL into a real guessing game as only one point separates the Kings from first and second place Campbell River Storm and Nanaimo Buccaneers.
Leading the scoring Saturday night at Sports Center 1 and player of the game was Liam Shaw with one goal and three assists. The First period was scoreless, leading fans to believe this was going to be a tough defensive game. The second period was much different, with the wolves taking a quick two goal lead and the Kings following up with four unanswered goals by Carson George (2) Ali Gotmy and Liam Shaw.
