The Edmonton, AB native walked into the slot and fired a wrist shot past Edmonds’ glove as the line of Blomqvist, Hodges and Magee combined for eight points in the opening frame and the Royals took a three-goal advantage into the first intermission.

Blomqvist completed the hat-trick 5:46 into the second period to give Victoria a 4-0 lead. Magee added his third assist of the game when he dished the puck to Blomqvist who was stationed to the left of Edmonds.
