Steven Hodges and Brandon Magee were credited with the assists on each of Blomqvist’s early goals. Magee then made it a 3-0 Victoria lead at the 8:21 mark.

Blomqvist completed the hat-trick 5:46 into the second period to give Victoria a 4-0 lead. Magee added his third assist of the game when he dished the puck to Blomqvist who was stationed to the left of Edmonds.
