January 23, 2014, Aspen Colorado (ISN) – While attempting to qualify for the X-games, Megan Gunning of Calgary Alberta has unfortunately injured her knee.

Due to her inability to finish her season, at midnight on Jan 22, the CFSA selection committee has nominated mogul skier Philippe Marquis to be her replacement on the Canadian Olympic Team for 2014.

Marquis missed making the games on Sunday by one position, having finished 8th in his mogul run. Marquis is already on an airplane where he will join his teammates at the pre-Olympic camp in Tignes, France.
