Minor Hockey Night Thursday

February 11, 2014, Victoria (ISN) – This Thursday is “Victoria Minor Hockey Association Night.” All players who show up to Thursday night’s game wearing their V.M.H.A. jersey will be admitted free of charge. Also, all carded coaches, managers, and trainers will be let in at no cost as well.

That night, the Andy Hebenton Trophy winning Victoria Cougars will be taking on the Westshore Wolves.

This incredibly popular event promises to be a fun-filled night for everyone.


  • Goodie bags for V.M.H.A. players
  • Prize draws for V.M.H.A. players
  • A shootout in-between the first and second intermissions between pre-determined V.M.H.A. players
  • Free pizza and pop for both teams participating in the shootouts
  • Free pizza and pop to the V.M.H.A. team with the best attendance
  • An autograph session with the Cougars players

Terri Cotton, a long time V.M.H.A. and Cougars volunteer, will perform the ceremonial puck drop at centre ice.

Game time at the Archie Browning Sports Centre, located at 1151 Esquimalt Road, is 7:00 p.m.

Doors open one hour prior to game time.
