NNS Debut postponed to RIR

THOMASVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (ISN) – 23 year-old Redlands, CA native Josh Reaume will have to wait just a little bit longer for his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut.

In a mutual decision, Reaume has moved out of the #23 Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet for this Saturday’s event at Bristol Motor Speedway with former series Rookie of the Year Timmy Hill taking the controls.

The move comes after a rough start in 2014 with the team falling out of the top 30 in owner’s points, a critical threshold which guarantees a starting position.

Reaume’s debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series will be postponed to April 25 at Richmond International Raceway as part of a multi-race program with Rick Ware Racing.

“Richmond makes sense for both the the team and Josh,” team owner Rick Ware said. “We want him to have the best debut possible and are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with him.”
